- Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Batgirl vs. Riddler #1
- The Magic Order #1
- Hawkman #1
- The Dead Hand #3
- Hunt For Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #2
- Mister Miracle #9
- Thor #1
- A Walk Through Hell #2
Marvel Two-In-One Annual #1 (For Doom of course)was… interesting. It felt really short and not a complete story. I didn’t enjoy the art in it either. So safe to say I’m probably not going to explore reading this new Marvel Two-In-One series.
Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Batgirl vs. Riddler #1 was an fun ride. I do like Batgirl, and I love the Riddler. The art was okay, not the strongest but I get the style and who it is aimed at.
The Magic Order #1 was pretty awesome. Mark Millar always spins a great story. Of course I love Olivier Coipel’s artwork. This is like an R rated Potter. Very dark and no kids gloves. Can’t wait for the next issue.
Hawkman #1 was interesting. I can honestly say I’ve only read a select few very old Hawkman books. The character is very interesting, and this new twist with him not only being reincarnated over time, but also space is very interesting. I’ll probably check this out for a few more issues before I’m sold on it though.
The Dead Hand #3 was good. Not as decent as the last two but we’re getting deeper into things now. Further understanding of how everything operates, and more looming trouble for the town with an agent on the way to trying to track down his missing friend.
Hunt For Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #2 was alright. I don’t feel it was as strong as the first one. We’ll have to wait and see. It’s not bad, but just didn’t really grab me to really want to read it anymore. I’ll stick it out though.
Mister Miracle #9 was kick ass! Just amazing as usual. Such a great story and keeps on delivering top notch work. Very nice twist at the end, and I wonder how they are going to deal with that.
Thor #1 was okay. I mean I didn’t hate it, but it is really hard to follow up after what the last team did with Jane. In fact speaking of Jane, it almost felt out of character for her with her little spotlight in the story. Also… not really a fan of the artwork, hell I didn’t even realize it was Jane until the next panel and the writing actually dictated it.
A Walk Through Hell #2 was amazing. Fantastic story thus far. I can feel the chills from this one. Such a great start.
